Join us for a vibrant summer evening as Ukama Marimba takes over Skylark’s Beer Garden with their electrifying blend of traditional Zimbabwean Shona music and fresh original compositions!

Ukama is a mixed-marimba ensemble that specializes in traditional and contemporary Zimbabwean music. Based in Bellingham, Washington, the band is extremely high energy, and is sure to have you dancing on your feet! Ukama presents a very unique experience for any audience member. In addition to marimba, the band features guitar, bass, mbira (the traditional instrument of Zimbabwe), hosho, and drum set.

Picture this: warm lights strung overhead, local brews on tap, your pooch at your side, and upbeat marimba melodies filling the beer garden!
