Info: Steve Von Till is an American musician, songwriter, educator, and poet. He is best known as a singer and guitarist in the highly influential and genre defying collective, Neurosis, which has been credited with changing the face of heavy music over the last 40 years. Since 1999 Von Till has composed and recorded seven solo albums of his unique style of sonic composition.


Von Till’s solo music as a singer songwriter has been described as a hybrid of haunting folk songs, ambient rural psychedelia and expansive gothic Americana full of melancholic beauty. Von Till’s weathered, distinctive voice and sparse instrumentation provide the foundation for these mostly quiet and subdued songs, which still manage to evoke vast emotional power as Von Till’s raspy whisper dives deeply inward and speaks of visions, memories, and self-reflection in a way that feels both seasoned and exposed.

Info: Aerial Ruin, based in Portland, Oregon is the primarily acoustic solo project of Erik Moggridge whose “richly evocative dark folk style makes for a head-in-hand listening experience. Yes it’s dark and minimal, evoking solitude and loneliness but also magic and mesmerizing, soothing and restorative.”* Moggridge also serves as a regular guest vocalist/collaborator with Seattle’s doom duo Bell Witch, performing and recording on select songs and occasions, most notably writing and performing the majority of the vocals in the latter half (or final 38 minutes) of the their critically acclaimed new album Mirror Reaper.
