Lake Whatcom Triathlon Swim and Bike Preview

Join us Saturday, June 28 for a supported preview of the Lake Whatcom Triathlon swim and bike courses.

7:00 AM – Swim Preview
Meet at the boat launch at Bloedel Donovan Park.
Led by Brent Detta and DJ DeAustria with SUP safety support from Alex Wittmershaus.
Buoys will be out to mark the course. Recommend a swim buouy for safety if you have one (not needed race day but for safety reasons).

8:30 AM – Bike Preview
Meet in the main parking lot at Bloedel.
Led by Amy Blom and Brent Detta.
Sprint and Olympic distance routes available to preview.
The bike course will not be marked, so please review the map in advance.

Bring everything you need for a safe training session—bike tools, hydration, fuel, etc.

You do not need to be a Tri Club member or even be registered for the race to join us. This is an informal, at-your-own-risk event. By participating, you acknowledge the event liability waiver. (Tri Club members already have this on file - link is below):
