From now until October 2025, our main work party focus is ivy removal to save trees – a crucial part of the ‘Protect’ part of our mission! We’ll be removing English ivy from trees and the ground around them in parks and along Greenways, which will help slow the spread of this invasive vine in the area, and increase the survival rate of the trees that are freed. We use a proven, 100% pesticide-free method to safely remove ivy by hand. It’s satisfying, fun, and a great workout! Registration is required.
