On Sunday October 19, from 10:30 - 12:30, at the Sail Urunga Club, at 9 Bellingen St, Urunga NSW, we will be telling the story of 5 Maremma Sheepdogs who found themselves abandoned in the middle of an unfamiliar community, Urunga, in April 2025.
We will be joined by Happy Paws Haven founder, Sally, to share what the rehabilitation and rehoming process has involved and more of her knowledge from decades of animal rescue.
This event will also be held in Bellingen (venue and date to be confirmed) and Dorrigo (October 26, 10:30 - 12:30, at the Never Never Mind Cafe, 16 Cudgery St, Dorrigo - see separate event).
Come along to not only learn more about this particular rescue, but to understand more generally the needs, opportunities and risks of Maremmas (and other Livestock Guardian dog breeds), and perhaps most importantly, how YOU can help.
