A different type of men’s group, Men’s Movie Mondays.
Each week we invite Men, Young Men and Boys to join us for a manly movie, we share a meal, and share our stories with the group, open and expressive of goodwill, non-judgement and kindness.
This is more than just a bunch of blokes watching a ripper film (although it’s that too) it’s an evening to connect with community in a space where positive masculinity is the baseline.
6pm - Doors open for dinner and a chat.
7pm - Movie starts.
Boys and young men welcome.
$10 dinner, entry by donation.
About the film;
New Zealander Burt Munro spent years perfecting his classic Indian motorcycle. The year is 1967, and Burt takes his machine to Utah’s salt flats, where he attempts the impossible, using his dream bike to set a new world’s record for speed. Based on a true story, the record Munro set more than three decades ago still has not been broken to this day.
