Bellingen, this one’s for you – on Sunday 14th September, the historic Bellingen Memorial Hall will come alive as 19-Twenty roll into town on their thunderous Hips Tour, celebrating 10 years of their crowd-favourite track “Hips” – the stomping, sweat-fuelled anthem that’s turned dancefloors upside down across the country.
Known for their blistering slide guitar, relentless rhythm section, and electrifying stage presence, 19-Twenty have earned their reputation as one of Australia’s most exciting live acts. From festivals to late-night barrooms, they deliver a fiery fusion of blues, roots, and rock that has to be seen – and felt – to be believed.
Now, they’re celebrating a decade of “Hips” – the song that first sent crowds into a frenzy. “That track changed everything for us,” says frontman Kane Dennelly. “It got people up and moving at gigs where dancing wasn’t even allowed. We knew we had something special – and now it’s time to give it the birthday party it deserves, Bellingen-style.”
Joining them for the night is rising local talent Jess Flanagan, whose soulful voice and raw storytelling have been winning hearts up and down the coast. She’ll be setting the tone with a powerful opening set you won’t want to miss.
Expect a genre-bending, high-energy night filled with rootsy ballads, thumping grooves, and wild rockers – all delivered with the unmistakable 19-Twenty fire.
