The “Exquisite Path”, is an art exhibit
now featured at The Great River Gallery,
located on the lower level of 309SRiverview, Bellevue, IA . It will be the backdrop for an exciting live art event that the public is invited to experience, A TIME FOR LIVE ART
Abstract Expressionist , Andrew Raeside ,
is the creator of this latest show by BAC
& he will be on hand August 26th, at 6:00 pm
to walk us through his process of creating ink paintings on large sheets of sturdy paper.
Gallery doors open at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, August26th
Here, Andrew elaborates on what the audience will witness during this one of a kind preformance art:
“There will be a large sheet of Rives BFK paper on the table aprox. 3.5 x 5 or 6 feet long,
there will be abstract jazz music but playing not too aggressive on my portable Bose speaker which may influence the process.
I will be using some black india ink and various shades of brown acrylic ink and maybe some gesso at the end.
I will use a hair dryer to speed drying and maybe some lines. There may need to be a break at some point to allow time for drying to allow for layers.”
If and when there are pauses during Andrew’s live art , gallery guests are encouraged to view his Exquisite Path adoring the walls, converse with one another and the artist about the life markers it strives to portray and , perhaps, partake in food and refreshments from River Ridge Brewing next door.
