The Divide 200

The stuff legends are made of... The culmination of 25 years of living, playing, and working in the Rocky Mountains.

The route includes the Castle/Crowsnest region of the southern Rockies. The race celebrates our Rocky Mountain heritage, and highlight portions of the stunning Great Divide Trail. Our vision for The Divide 200 is to keep you up high and enjoying the varied landscape of the Continental Divide.

This event is for people with a great deal of both race and alpine experience. The course is made up of all trail types, as well as some off-trail travel. There will be some sections of basic route finding even though it is a prescribed and marked course; the terrain is just really gnarly out there. Checkpoints are 20 to 40km apart, depending on the section of the race.

The race is open to solo competitors, and it will be capped at 100 entrants. We are offering a large prize purse for the top three female and male competitors with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers receiving $5,000, $2,500, and $1,750 respectively.†
