Late-Summer Foraging Walk & Dinner with Chris Gavin

Join Master Naturalist Chris Gavin and Seven Acre for a foraging workshop & wild and local foods dinner!

Chris Gavin is a Master Naturalist, expert forager, and one of southern Wisconsin's foremost authorities on wild foods. He’ll host a wild foods foraging workshop and dinner with a focus on late-summer and early fall foraging opportunities. Chris will take guests through Seven Acre's restored prairie and oak savanna, teaching participants how to identify and harvest edible wild foods of the late-summer season. Chris’s workshop will be followed by a 3-course dinner featuring participants’ foraged ingredients and other locally-sourced food.
