Local Author Felda Brown at the Library--Book Launch

Join Fleda Brown at the Bellaire Library for a Bellaire book launch! Her twelfth book of poems, “The End of the Clockwork Universe,” has just been released by Carnegie Mellon University Press. Fleda is a long-time Central Lake cottager. Her grandparents bought the cottage in 1918, and her uncle Richmond founded the Intermediate Lake Association. Many of her poems have come from her closeness to the lake and to the woods. The new book is "a luminous new perspective on aging, science, and the tender strangeness of being alive."
