Sharing and Caring Golf Tournament Radio Support

For those unaware, my AMAZING sister Katy Smith works for a local non profit in Benton county called Sharing and Caring. Sharing and Caring helps provide essential winterware and clothing for children facing poverty. They have one major fundraiser every year in the form of a Golf Tournament and dinner party. The proceeds from this one event funds their entire operation. In 2024, they were able to serve 3,130 children throughout Benton County. Through their efforts they are able to provide each child with clothing, shoes, toys, a food box, household essentials, and any other special needs. Every child in their program is shopped for individually — one by one, with care and dignity. New and expectant mothers also receive a box of essentials to give both mom and baby a healthy start.

Where we come in is helping in coordinating efforts throughout the course of the day. Duties will include ferrying other volunteers via golf carts, observing golf holes along the course, topping off ice chests, relaying communications for volunteers and investigating course issues for net control.
