30th Annual RC Moon Pie Festival @ Main Street

This wacky, fun for the whole family event celebrates the South’s original fast food – an ice cold RC Cola and a fresh Moon Pie. Smiling visitors from all over the world (we can prove it cause there’s a “who travelled the furthest contest!) stream into the downtown area where they find plenty of music, cloggers, weird and knee slapping fun contests, Moon Pie games, and a colorful parade just to name a few of the many things that occur throughout the day.
This grand old-fashioned celebration invites snack lovers from all over the world to enjoy a jam packed day of fun for the whole family.

This festival starts with a 10 mile & a 5k race starting at 7am and goes directly into all the festivities.

The Bell Buckle Main Street shows is just a small section of the RC Moon Pie festival managed by myself while other areas are managed by other coordinators. Several areas have joined into the festival making it a larger event each year.

We are also accepting floats, marching bands, car clubs, youth clubs for parade
