Join us for a night of trivia, games, and prizes!
Hosted by professional event host Noah Sargent and professional disabled person Alex, we are holding this event to raise money to cover Kit's complex medical needs. As a fellow sufferer of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, Kit has been a dear friend and source of support to me. They have shown up for their community even when so sick that they cannot tolerate sunlight, or feed, hydrate, or wash themself. Now it is time for their community to show up for them.
Kit has been let down by the system and refused desperately needed NDIS funding. They currently rely on a combination of paying for expensive home care out of pocket and friends volunteering their time, in order to avoid starvation. All money raised from this event will go towards covering the cost of Kit's care while they await another review of their NDIS plan.
Attendees can book as an individual and join up with others to form a team on the night, or book as a whole table.
Tickets for our raffle will be available at the door, $2 each or 3 for $5!

ABOUT KIT, IN THEIR OWN WORDS:
Hey everyone, I’m Kit (they/them). I’m a transmasculine non-binary queer person living on Wurundjeri Country (Melbourne, Australia).
I have had chronic health conditions for years, including hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, an energy limiting chronic illness Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (aka ME/CFS), Gastroparesis (partial paralysis of the stomach) and chronic migraines. All funds raised will be sent directly to this donation page following the event. A proof of donation receipt will be emailed to all ticket holders.
ACCESSIBILITY:
- Attendees are encouraged to wear an N95 or greater quality face mask in order to protect immunocompromised individuals who may be in attendance. Limited masks available at the door.
- Front entrance accessible via ramp.
- Air purifiers provided for the safety of all attendees.
- Printed versions of questions available on request for the hearing impaired.
- While the venue does not have built-in air-conditioning, a portable aircon will be present for the comfort and safety of our participants.
