Our "Mid-Pace Hikers" group strikes the perfect balance between fitness and enjoyment. These hikes are designed for those seeking a challenge without feeling rushed, offering plenty of opportunities to capture photos and appreciate the stunning natural surroundings. They’re ideal for hikers who want to improve their strength and endurance while connecting with like-minded individuals who value the outdoors and the benefits of regular, moderately paced exercise.
Pace: 11-13 minutes per kilometre.
If you're unsure whether this pace suits your fitness level, we recommend starting with our "Relaxed Hiker" hikes, which provide a great introduction to the group and allow you to build confidence at a gentler pace.
Join us for a magical walk beneath the towering Mountain Ash trees of Sherbrooke Forest 🌿 This 8km loop trail winds through fern-filled gullies, native bushland and leads us to the beautiful Sherbrooke Falls 💧
The track is peaceful, shady, and full of charm, the kind of walk that leaves you feeling grounded and refreshed 🌲✨
After our hike, we’ll head to the cosy Micawber Tavern for a well-deserved lunch 🍽️ Think open fires, hearty meals, and a chance to connect with fellow hikers over great food and conversation.
