Zelzeleh (Zemljotres na persijskom) je mračni elektronski/avant-folk projekat sa sedištem u SAD-u, nastao u saradnji između Faraway Ghost (Kamyar Arsani) i Sunken Cages (Ravish Momin).
Duo kombinuje vokale inspirisane persijskom poezijom i pank rokom, zajedno sa globalnim ritmovima koji su slojevito nanešeni na zamršene elektronske zvučne pejzaže. Arsanijevo majstorstvo persijskih klasičnih modusa (dastgah) i njegov evokativni vokal se besprekorno stapaju sa Mominovim poliritmičkim live-loopingom na elektronskim udaraljkama. Zajedno stvaraju jedinstven zvuk opisan kao "digitalna sufi muzika". Njihov debitantski album 'Ashk Haye Moghavemat' ('Suze otpora'), posveta međusobno povezanim borbama protiv ugnjetavanja širom svijeta, objavljen je u novembru 2024. godine od strane idiosinkratične francuske izdavačke kuće Akuphone.
Kamyar Arsani je iranski multiinstrumentalista, pevač i tekstopisac sa sedištem u Washingtonu, istaknuti umetnik na mnogim pozornicama u Severnoj Americi. Uz solo rad i saradnju, Arsani je također pevač i tekstopisac punk benda Shadow Riot.
Ravish Momin je bubnjar i producent elektronske muzike rođen u Indiji. Studirao je kod majstora jazz bubnjara Andrewa Cyrillea, radio je kao prateći muzičar sa širokim spektrom muzičara, uključujući američku avant-jazz legendu Kalaparusha Mauricea McIntyrea, te je vodio vlastitu jazz/global grupu Tarana na međunarodnim pozornicama poslednjih 14 godina. Lako je ukorenjen u indijskoj i crnačkoj muzičkoj tradiciji, na njega su također uticali ulični zvuci underground plesna muzika od Sao Paola do Durbana, Mumbaija i šire. Radio je remikse za Depeche Mode, Batida, Babani Sound System i Guedra Guedra.

Zelzeleh (‘Earthquake’ in Farsi) is a dark electronic / avant-folk project based in USA, a collaboration between Faraway Ghost (Kamyar Arsani) and Sunken Cages (Ravish Momin).
The duo combines vocals inspired by Persian poetry and punk rock along with global rhythms that are layered over intricate electronic soundscapes. Arsani’s mastery of Persian classical modes (dastgahs) and his evocative vocals merge seamlessly with Momin’s polyrhythmic live-looping on electronic percussion. Together, they create a unique sound described as “Digital Sufi Music.” Their debut album ‘Ashk Haye Moghavemat’ (‘Tears of Resilience’), a tribute to interconnected struggles against oppression worldwide, was published in November 2024 by the idiosyncratic French label Akuphone.
Kamyar Arsani is an Iranian multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter based in Washington DC, and has been a featured artist on many stages in North America. Along with his solo work and collaborations, Arsani is also the singer and lyricist of the punk band Shadow Riot.
Ravish Momin is an Indian-born drummer and electronic music producer. He studied under the jazz master-drummer Andrew Cyrille, worked as a sideman with a wide array of musicians including US avant-jazz legend Kalaparush Maurice McIntyre, and led his own jazz/global group Tarana on international stages for the past 14 years. While rooted in Indian and Black Music traditions, he is also influenced by the street sounds of underground dance music from Sao Paolo to Durban to Mumbai and beyond. He has done remixes for Depeche Mode, Batida, Babani Sound System, and Guedra Guedra.

[SRB] “Jedan čovek – četiri vokmena” je odomaćeni rezime Vladimira Lenharta poznatijeg kao Lenhart Tapes. Vokmeni su njegovi muzički instrumenti, na kojima kasete iz sopstvene bogate arhive pušta preko originalnih ritmičkih lupova, stvarajući divlji muzički zombi-žanr prožet indastrijalom, nojzom, i folkom. Njegov najnoviji album "Dens" objavila je izdavačka kuća Glitterbeat 2023. godine i dostigao je #1 na World Music Charts Europe.
Ovom prilikom, Lenhart će imati jedan od retkih solo nastupa.
[EN] "One Man - Four Walkmans" is an iconic summary of the work of Vladimir Lenhart, better known as Lenhart Tapes. Walkmans are his musical instruments, by which he plays a live mix of selected material from his rich cassette collection on top of original rhythmic loops, creating a wild musical zombie-genre permeated with industrial music, noise and folk. His latest album "Dance" was released by Glitterbeat in 2023 and reached #1 on the World Music Charts Europe.
On this occasion, Lenhart will make a rare solo appearance on stage.

[EN] Throughout the evening, Nikola Urošević of The Cyclist Conspiracy, aka DJ Zìxíngchē, will be playing us kraut space operas, monumental uranic psychedelia, Turkcedelia, scoundrel rock, Zapatista surf, unheimlich film scores, Khmer schlager music, Mongolian ceremonial drones, Middle-Eastern microtonal tapestries of sound, and pastoral abstractions.

"DRUŠTVO PREKO" is an event series that is an offshoot of the Društvo Festival, a DIY alternative music festival that grew out of the compilation series "The Music of the Secret Society that Owns Belgrade" by Inverted Spectrum Records, which celebrates the creative underground music scene of Belgrade. Each ‘Društvo preko’ event brings acts from abroad together with local acts from Serbia affiliated with the festival.
