Butoh is a radical and poetic movement practice — both an inner journey and a powerful form of stage expression.

Born in postwar Japan, Butoh blends raw physicality, emotional depth, and surreal imagery. It invites you to explore the subconscious, awaken the body’s hidden language, and shape your presence as both a mover and a performer.

In these weekly classes in Belgrade, we’ll explore:
– Slow, meditative and expressive movement
– Sensory and emotional awareness
– Imagery, character, and transformation
– Presence, intensity, and performative body

This space is open to dancers, performers, artists from all disciplines — and anyone curious about movement as a path to expression, liberation, and performance. No experience is needed.

Butoh can feel like a psychedelic experience — without substances.
It’s an art form that begins inside and reaches toward the stage, toward others, toward the unknown.
