Children aged 1-8 will enjoy reading Paul Showers' "The Listening Walk," followed by a nature scavenger hunt with Master Naturalist Garth Ewing. This event aims to nurture curiosity and appreciation for nature and biodiversity among young children as they explore the sounds of birds, insects, plants, trees, flowers, and other wildlife. Bring a hat, water, bug spray, and sunscreen. An adult must accompany children. Vehicle admission is required. Meet at the Visitor Center.
