Georgian Encampment at Bamburgh Castle

Georgian re-enactment will be kick start our theme of Pirates at Bamburgh Castle and we are delighted to welcome these groups who will be donning British Red Coats and you may see some fancy ladies dressed in Jane Austin style clothing.

Family and children’s activities with including Life in the Georgian military, full living history camp, traditional period cooking, Guard mounting, musket displays, historical Georgian medicine plus lots more

Where: West Ward (head for the Armstrong and Aviation Museum)

When:

July: 26th & 27th

August: 16th & 17th

Please note there will be musket firing in the West Ward so if you have young children, anyone with sensitive ears or four legged friends visiting with you please be mindful of this
