GIFTED: REWS | THE THING IS | CHARLIE HANLON - BELFAST EMPIRE - 05 JUNE 2025

REWS return to Belfast for their first show in nearly 2 years with a headline performance at the Belfast Empire.

Infectiously energetic, empowering and badass are some of the words used to describe the dynamic melodic alternative pop/rock force, ‘REWS’, helmed by the multi-instrumentalist, Northern Irish songstress, Shauna Tohill and a revolving cast of musical friends.

Alt rock outfit The Thing Is... write songs about real-life experiences women face. The band have taken the local music scene by storm with their captivating live sets marking them out as ones to watch despite only two singles to their name.

Charlie Hanlon is a talented songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Downpatrick. Despite his young age, he has supported the likes of Ash and Pete Doherty as well as showcasing at renowned music showcases the Great Escape, Output and Ireland Music Week.
