David Lynch: INLAND EMPIRE

INLAND EMPIRE, written and directed by David Lynch, tells the story of ‘a woman in trouble’. Returning to QFT in a director approved 4K restoration.

David Lynch’s first digitally shot feature makes visionary use of the medium to weave a vast meditation on the enigmas of time, identity, and cinema itself.

Featuring a tour de force performance from Laura Dern as an actor on the edge, this labyrinthine Dream Factory nightmare tumbles down an endless series of unfathomably interconnected rabbit holes as it takes viewers on a hallucinatory odyssey into the deepest realms of the unconscious mind.

INLAND EMPIRE is both an epic recap of a career—including appearances by Lynch veterans Justin Theroux, Laura Harring, Grace Zabriskie, Diane Ladd, and the inimitable Harry Dean Stanton—and his most radical and experimental film since Eraserhead.

QFT and David Lynch go together like coffee and cherry pie. This summer, in celebration of his life and work, QFT are pulling back the red curtain on Lynch's body of work, from the wild at heart to the weird on top.
