Get hands-on and make model birds using paper and masking tape, taking inspiration from our exhibitions on select dates on July and August.
Two of our current exhibitions, The Enemy Is Time and Wild Ireland: Past, Present, Future, explore the dangers of species extinctions, migration and the climate emergency in terms of Irish flora and fauna.
Both exhibitions feature birds, including Patrick Goddard's 'Blue Sky Thinking', which consists of 180 ring-necked parakeets (with 90 currently on display in The Enemy Is Time exhibition) that were carved in clay and then cast from lead recycled from London roofs.
This is a free, drop-in, family-friendly event with materials provided in the Wild Ireland: Past, Present, Future exhibition. No booking needed!
