The Conversation

A brilliant but emotionally detached surveillance expert is hired to record a cryptic conversation between a young couple in a public square. As he obsessively pieces together the recording, he becomes convinced their lives are in danger—and that his work may be the instrument of their death. Haunted by a past mistake and spiraling into paranoia, he’s forced to confront the limits of control, the ethics of his profession, and the terrifying possibility that he’s being watched himself.
