Moon presents Dallo
Dallo is a 23-year-old music producer from Cairo, Egypt, known for crafting a sound that bridges two contrasting worlds: the electric pulse of the city and the spiritual calm of the desert. Since starting his journey in 2020, Dallo has developed a unique musical voice shaped by both the vibrant chaos of Cairo and the peaceful landscapes of Sinai. Growing up immersed in mahraganat and the raw creativity of Egyptian rap, Dallo was inspired by the sounds of his city—its rhythms, its noise, its nonstop energy. But it was his frequent travels to Sinai that added another layer to his work. The stillness of the mountains, the silence of the desert, and the introspective beauty of nature pushed him to blend traditional oriental, Sufi, and Arabic influences with modern genres. His music is a reflection of this duality—tracks that pulse with life and energy, while others drift into meditative, atmospheric territory. Dallo isn’t just producing beats; he’s building
sonic bridges between urban hustle and spiritual escape, tradition and innovation, Egypt’s streets and its sacred spaces.
