On the Move - Past, Present and Future

Free Community Fun Day exploring bold new ideas for travel and transport on the Cartmel Peninsula and new visions for our coastline.

This family-friendly event will feature a wide variety of travel-themed interactive activities aiming to get people thinking about how our community moves around. Activities will include:

Arts and crafts creating imaginative transport from the future
Pedal powered fun including Scalextric
Bike Doctor stall
Heritage transport displays
Refreshments & information sharing

Hosted by PEAT (Peninsula Environmental Action Together,) the event marks the culmination of the ‘Let’s Talk - The Future of Transport and Travel on the Cartmel Peninsula’. The event will also feature key findings from the project.

The event is being delivered in collaboration with Morecambe Bay Partnership, Deliberate CIC, Grange Town Council and supported by Future Proof Cumbria (formerly CAfS.)
