We’re really pleased to be able to offer a trial Holiday Kids Club this February half term, running as part of our commitment to supporting our local community and making our programmes as accessible as possible.
This subsidised programme is designed for children aged 8–16 and will run on 16th, 17th and 18th February, 10:00am–2:00pm.
What the day includes
The days will be based around the yard and horses and will focus on:
Building confidence, communication and teamwork
Practical yard activities and horse care
Physical activity in an outdoor environment
Learning about nutrition, exercise and wellbeing
Managing behaviour, emotions and interactions around horses
We use the relationship with horses as a way to support personal development, engagement and enjoyment in a calm, structured setting.
Cost
As this is a subsidised community programme, the cost is £40 per child, per day.
Optional riding session add-on
Children attending the Holiday Club can also book onto a discounted riding session after the day for £25.
These sessions are limited in number and will be offered at:
Beginner level (for first-time or novice riders)
Intermediate level (for children with some riding experience)
Booking
Spaces are limited as this is a small-group trial, so we recommend booking early if you’d like your child to attend.
