Bulb Fest
Beetham’s first-ever Bulb Fest features interactive gardening activities, including a peat-free compost talk, a bulb lasagne demo, and a children's bulb planting activity.
Bulb market
As we enjoy the garden's final act in late summer, spring bulbs offer us the promise of beautiful blooms to come. Our bulb market will showcase more than 200 varieties, giving you endless possibilities to design your perfect planting scheme — from a joyful riot of colour with muscari, crocus, tulips and bluebells, to a timeless ‘host of golden daffodils’ to welcome the spring.
Peat-free compost talk
Making the switch to peat-free compost doesn’t mean compromising on plant health or results. In this practical talk, titled 'Confidently Peat-Free: Tips for Healthier Plants', Richard from Melcourt Industries will share insights from their 40 year journey of developing high-quality, peat-free growing media. You’ll pick up simple, effective tips to get the very best from peat-free compost — so you can enjoy stronger, healthier plants while making a positive difference for the planet.
Book early to avoid disappointment!
Bulb lasagne demo
Join our Growing Nursery Manager at 11am on Sunday for a free live demonstration on how to create a stunning bulb lasagne pot — a simple layering technique that ensures colourful blooms from early spring through to summer.
No booking required.
Children's planting activity
Little ones can get hands-on at Bulb Fest in our free daffodil planting activity, running from 10am to 3pm each day. It’s a fun way for children to enjoy the garden and take home a little promise of spring.
We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating the beauty of bulbs together.
