The work for study on this day will be Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra, which we will perform at our next concert in November 2025!
This is an opportunity for players who relish the idea of spending a day on this challenging work under the baton of Melvin Tay, culminating in a play-through.
Open to members and non-members, we hope to have a very full orchestra to do this magnificent work justice!
Perhaps this is a piece you have always wanted to play.... Maybe you played a long time ago.... Maybe think you might want to join the orchestra but aren't sure if you're good enough.... Come and enjoy yourself with us for this musical adventure!

Everyone on the "guest players" list will be sent an email inviting you to book for the day.
Cost for the day will be £20 per player (concessions are available) - students in full-time education free; if you're aged 16 and under, a responsible adult must be present.
