BECOMING YOUR TRUE NATURE
A WOMEN’S DAY RETREAT IN AN ANCIENT TEMPERATE RAINFOREST
Saturday 18th October | 10.30am – 4pm | Eaves Wood, Cumbria
Contribution: £60 | Limited to 12 women
DO YOU LONG TO FEEL CALM, GROUNDED, AND TRULY YOURSELF AGAIN?
Do you feel like give so much, hold it all together, and do your best every day?
But inside, you may feel tired, overstimulated, or like you’ve lost touch with who you really are.
What if, for one day, you could step away from the noise — and let the beautiful temperate rainforest bring you home?
IMAGINE THIS…
Spending a day in an ancient temperate rainforest — one of the UK’s rarest landscapes.
Breathing more deeply as you walk beneath towering trees.
Opening your senses and feeling your nervous system soften.
Sharing gentle moments of connection with women who understand what it means to yearn for a slower pace, in a world that rarely slows down.
This is your invitation to rest, restore, and remember yourself.
WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE
Guided practices woven through the day to meet your sensitive system with care:
- Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku) — slowing down, opening your senses, finding presence in the woodland
- Heart-centred breathing (HeartMath®) — calming your mind and body
- Sensory and creative connection — playful, embodied practices to awaken joy and childlike wonder
- Woodland Women’s Circle — a safe space to be seen, heard, and supported (sharing is always optional)
- Rest and restoration — quiet time, reflection, and simply being held by nature
- Fire and food — we’ll gather together (please bring a packed lunch and something small to share)
