Our interactive panel event forms our contribution to the Heritage Open Days: Britain’s largest community involvement festival. This year with the theme ‘Architecture’.
We hear from presenters who are highly regarded in their fields – including architects, planners, and environmentalists – each giving a short presentation, followed by an interactive discussion with the audience about the environment for living that we are creating for ourselves and for future generations – our legacy – what will likely become the ‘architectural heritage’ of our era?
Our confirmed panel of presenters includes:
• Ryan Dawson – Head of Planning + Economy, Broxtowe Borough Council (BrBC)
• Emma Georgiou - Head of Environment, BrBC
• Dr Jordan Kauffman – Architectural Historian, Assistant
• Professor at The University of Nottingham
• Dr Stefan Kruczkowski – Urban Design consultant
• Gavin Richards – Head of Architecture, Nottingham Trent University
• Dr Kate Simpson – Sustainable construction specialist
• Gil Shalom – Environmentally sustainable Architect
With presenters of such standing this event promises to be both enjoyable and informative.
Come along prepared to hear contributions from the experts, and to have your say about the heritage we are creating for the future.
