Join Trail Trekkers for a focused training adventure designed to simulate race day conditions. We would love you to join us for coffee and brunch at the local cafe after our session.
Coaches:
Tracy and Bob Baker to lead the session, under the guidance of our very good trail friend Raquel who knows these trails like the back of her hand- thank you Raquel
💥 What to Expect:
• Active hiking/ running with extended time on feet
• Terrain and elevation to match trail race challenges
• Pack carrying to simulate race gear
• Nutrition and hydration practice
• Mentally and physically prepare for race day
This session is ideal for those training for their race or wanting to push their endurance in a supportive trail environment.
What to Bring:
• Running vest
• Fuel & hydration for 4-5 hours
• Snake bandage and emergency blanket
• Sense of adventure
Cost:
Free for anyone that has registered for a Trail Trekkers Tour (Surf Coast Century or Bibbulum Multi Stage Events) others $10
Who's It For?
Trail runners that are mid to back of the pack trail runners, you don't have to be fast to join us, aiming to replicate the demands of endurance trail runs. No one gets left behind!
P.S Keep your eye out for upcoming training events as they build in distance every 3 weeks and would love you to join us.
