Foraging is an excellent opportunity to get to know the bioregional plants in your area while also adding to your picnic basket for a delicious and healthful meal. We will discuss which plants are in season and how best to ethically harvest them to maintain a sustainable ecosystem for everyone, great and small.

About the speaker:
Leesalyn is the founder of Rhizome Revival - a nonprofit educational farm in Bastrop, TX offering classes in permaculture, homesteading and botanical medicine.
As a bioregional herbalist, she crafts local plants as they are seasonally available and encourages folks of all ages to become stewards of the Earth - befriending plant allies in their own backyard.
