Hello Halifax sketchers!
The Halifax Urban Sketchers will be meeting up again this Sunday! Currently the forecast is for a rain but let’s hope it changes. If the weather is good will pick a spot outside but otherwise, we will find a spot inside the Café to draw.
When: July 20, 2025, from 11am - 1pm
Where: Chicken Little Café, 1527 Bedford Highway, Bedford (visit
https://www.chicklittle.ca/ for directions and note there are two locations listed).
Meeting location: At the outdoor seating of the Café or inside the Café is it is raining and then will stay inside to draw (and may move to another after an hour if it is really busy there).
Please note that this is a free event. Just show up at the Chicken Little Café, Bedford Highway location on Sunday and look for the group of friendly people with sketchbooks. Same as last week, you may want to bring a portable chair or stool (for outside) as well as a sketchbook, pens, pencils, erasers, etc. Feel free to bring a friend as well!
The Chicken Little Café reports that its doors first opened in 2011 in a little corner behind The Chickenburger and has been a summer staple in the Bedford community ever since. This location offers an amazing ice cream selection, as well as coffee and food. Similar to the Chickenburger, Chicken Little Café also offers a 50’s inspired diner experience.
