Battle Creek Firearms Company offers a Michigan CPL certification course based on the USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals curriculum, designed for both new and experienced gun owners. This full-day training covers firearm safety, defensive shooting techniques, conflict avoidance, Michigan laws on self-defense and concealed carry, and how to handle real-life encounters before, during, and after a defensive situation. The course includes classroom instruction and live-fire training at the range. A firearm will be provided if needed, and 9mm, .45 ACP, .22 LR, and .380 ACP ammunition is available for purchase. Students are encouraged to bring their own handgun if they have one, along with at least 50 rounds of ammunition. This class meets all state requirements to apply for a Michigan Concealed Pistol License and focuses on building knowledge, safety, and confidence in carrying and using a firearm for personal protection.
