Grass-Roots Fly-in

Following the disappointment of our fly-in at the beginning of July when the weather put a spanner in the works, we are going to try again with the fly-in. The weekend of 5/6/7 September is when the airfield holds the grass roots fly-in, which is primarily a ballooning event and has been going for many years. The balloons generally fly either very early in the morning or late in the evening, leaving plenty of time for us to have a fly-in for all other types of aircraft during the day. This time we will restrict the additional fly-in to just one day, Saturday 6th September, pilots are welcome to camp overnight on the Saturday and depart on Sunday 7th. Toilet and shower facilities are available.
The suggested landing fee will be £10, tea & coffee included.
