Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Tahiti in the late 1960s, WALTZING WITH BRANDO tells the true story of silver screen legend Marlon Brando and forward-thinking architect Bernard Judge (Jon Heder). Together, they attempt to build the world’s first sustainable ecological retreat on Brando’s tiny, uninhabitable island.

Brando, then the most famous actor in the world, purchased the island while filming Mutiny on the Bounty. Driven to escape Hollywood and chart a new course, he partnered with Judge to prove that ecological living was not only possible — but the way forward.
