BDC's The Lovely Bones Auditions

Bedford Drama Company is excited to announce the auditions for our summer show, The Lovely Bones.

Auditions will take place on 1 February at

4.30pm The Place Theatre, Bedford.

The Lovely Bones is a 2018 British play based on the 2002 novel of the same name by Alice Sebold. It was adapted for the stage by Bryony Lavery.

We follow the story of Susie Salmon, a young girl who is murdered and watches from the afterlife as her family and friends struggle to cope with her death but also watches them go through things in life she will never get to experience. From her place “in between” heaven and earth, Susie tries to help them find peace and justice.

The play is emotional and haunting, mixing tragedy with hope as it explores love, loss, and the power of memory.

This production offers a range of roles, male/female characters of various ages.
