Gallery Opening: Simple Folk

Join us on Saturday, September 20 at 1 PM for the opening reception for ‘Simple Folk’ at Tamarack Marketplace’s David L. Dickirson Fine Arts Gallery. Enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres, wine, and artwork of all mediums from West Virginia artists.

Superstition is steeped in the history of Appalachia. From wise mountain witches to souls trapped in time, the hills and hollers of West Virginia are no stranger to the occasional haunting. Through storytelling, folktales remain alive and at work in the lives of their people; growing feelings of wary, and sometimes wisdom, for generations to come.
