Forest School Level 2 Qualification
This qualification is intended for those who wish to become an assistant at Forest School developing knowledge
of Forest School and the practical skills for the role.
Course Dates
Days 1-3 -25th, 26th & 27th June
Days 4-5 - 11th & 12th September
Kinda Training is part of Kinda Education CIC which promotes equity and kindness by deepening reconnection to nature.
Kinda delivers cross-generational Forest School programmes, working with people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to rekindle a sense of belonging, co-operation and community.
The practical training happens face to face in both stunning ancient and young woodland.
The course has a high tutor ratio that helps us to support and mentor you as you learn new skills.
The qualification is composed of two units.
Unit 1: Understanding how Forest School and Forest School experiences can support
learning and development and being able to perform the role of a Forest School
Assistant.
Unit 2: Sustainable woodland management, risk assessment and carrying out practical
task such as using tools, erecting shelters and safe fire siting at Forest School.
The Training includes-
*5 days face to face tutoring
*PLUS one day observing a Kinda Forest School long term session in action
*Completing a portfolio
Cost £725
The minimum age for access to these qualifications is: Level 2 Award: 18 years .
