TLDR; Event is 21 and up and starts at 7:00pm. Dress up in your favorite costume from the 1950s to the 1980s. Enjoy snacks, drinks, prizes, and a photo booth. Spend a fun night with friends dancing the night away and help celebrate the history of AMSET!
What's a silent disco?? Glad you asked! A silent disco is an event where people dance to music through wireless headphones instead of traditional loudspeakers. Music is transmitted via a specialized system, and participants listen through wireless headsets tuned to different music channels. Those without headphones hear no music, creating the unique effect of a crowd dancing in silence.
Upon check in, guests will receive their headphones for the night. You put them on when you're ready to dance, and remove them when you need a break.
Cash bar and snack bar! We will also have plenty of non-alcoholic options.
Dress in your best decade costume from the 1950s to the 1980s. Come as a character from your favorite movie, a rock star, a hippie, a disco queen - be whatever your creative mind decides! We will have prizes for the Best Dressed for each decade!
Event is for 21 years and older, IDs will be checked at the door.
