September Monthly Meeting- Stephanie Martinez, Chenier Plain NWRs Complex

Join us for some superb Tex-Mex and a great speaker! Stephanie Martinez has been with the Texas Chenier Plain NWRs Complex for 24 years. After graduating high school, she joined the Army, then got her Biology degree from Lamar University. She began her FWS career as an intern, followed by various temporary jobs and then got the permanent position of Outdoor Recreation Planner. She loves USFWS and believes wholeheartedly in the mission of protecting these habitats. She does tours, volunteer coordination, environmental education, events, talks, etc. and hopes to inform the public about how important these places are.
