Joe Jaworski for Texas Attorney General

Joe Jaworski served as the 55th Mayor of Galveston. He helped lead recovery after Hurricane Ike, championed mixed-income housing so families could return, guided a voter-driven Seawall funding solution, and supported the planting of forty thousand new trees to restore the island's historic canopy. He successfully fought to keep UTMB in Galveston and protect thousands of jobs. A third-generation Texas attorney and former federal appellate clerk, he is now a nationally recognized mediator.

He is running for Texas Attorney General to protect the rights and freedoms of every Texan. He believes the Attorney General should defend the people, not political interests.
