REFRAMING THE CONSTANT: Photography & Mixed Media by Jennifer Sarah Blakeslee & Denise DeVore

Creative partners Jennifer Sarah Blakeslee and Denise DeVore explore the tension between permanence and change in their new exhibition, "Reframing the Constant." Photography freezes a moment in time, yet its meaning shifts with each new context and viewer. Building from these static flashes of memory, the artists expand them into three-dimensional worlds—fluid, evolving works that are continuously reinterpreted and transformed.

Though their individual styles differ, Blakeslee and DeVore complement each other like two halves of a shared creative mind. After collaborating for Beacon Open Studios earlier this year, they have forged a partnership rooted in mutual inspiration, honest critique, and deep respect.
