Feast of Friends: Doors Tribute

Formed in 2013, Feast of Friends stands out as one of the only continuously active Doors tribute bands in the Northeast. Unlike typical parody acts, this tribute avoids costumes and impersonations, instead honoring the music itself with precision and passion. Blending the studio sound with the band’s epic live improvisation, they capture the Doors’ essence in a “spooky, accurate” way that’s been called “unbelievable!” and “powerful and electrifying.”

Frontman Joe McCausland has even performed alongside original Doors guitarist Robbie Kreiger. In 2024, Feast of Friends interviewed John Densmore during a celebration of Jim Morrison’s 80th birthday. Their memorable shows feature classic hits and lots of deep tracks rarely played or performed live by The Doors.

Feast of Friends has performed full live albums like the self-titled debut, Strange Days, and L.A. Woman.
