Backround & Experience:
Sandra Sherman has resided in Connecticut for over 40 years with her family. Having taught in elementary, middle and high school settings for over 35 years, she has an understanding of the needs of math students in all age-range and ability levels.
Sandra recieved her bachelor;s degree from Temple University, her master's degrees from Southern CT State University and Fairfield University in "Computers in Education". She maintains her CT State certification in several areas which span elementary through high school levels. She also has years of experience helping teachers succeed on the Praxis Exam and other adults on their career testing programs.
In addition to presenting workshops on technology/mathematics, she was a "CT Celebration of Excellence" recipient and was awarded "Technology Teacher of the Year in CT" sponosred by Microspoft and signed by Bill Gates. Sandra has been awarded multiple grants, including one from ATOMIC (Assoc. of Teachers of Math in CT).
