Pinch pot pears: Eat, drink, clay workshop at the Mundulla mud brick studio Friday 2nd May 7pm to 9:30pm.

$75 per person. Maximum 10 people. Bookings essential.

Includes food, beverages and all materials.

I have matured and wedged some local wild clay for those who would like to use it ‘Mundulla Mud/ blended wild Limestone Coast clay’.
White and speckled clay will also be available.

You will create your choice of 3 pieces using the pinch pot technique and your selected clay, pieces can then be painted with underglaze paints which will be bisque fired when dry, clear glazed and glaze fired. Crackle glaze is also available.

While I take every care when firing your pieces unfortunately breakages do occur. Kiln firing is not entirely predictable.

Pieces take approximately 3 weeks to dry, bisque fire, glaze and glaze fire.

Event will be rescheduled if the temperature forecast for 7pm is over 35 degrees.
