Trick or Treat is 2 til 5 both days and is for kids 8 and under in costume and accompanied by a parent. FREE face painting 12-4pm, pictures with Halloween Mickey and magic by Mr. Dan the Magic Man!
Do you know what Rock 2 Adopt is all about? Well now you will....
This is an annual event to help the animals/ pets at different shelters, refuges, farms and really any non profit that needs support maintaining the well being of their animals.
Donna Torres is the founder of this event along with Peter Jester. Help includes, but is not limited to, money donations, supply donations, adoption support, and catch and release progams. Recipients may change each year as the committee reviews the impact our help has on the organizations.
All funds are allocated to the animals care only. Funds do not go any business aspect of the reciprocate.
We accomplish this through a fun, full festival which this year offers 22 full bands, 18 acoustic performances, 34 vendors, and 11 food trucks, along with many activities geared to the young and young at heart. And through the help of generous sponsors! All can been viewed at www.rock2adopt.org.
Myself, and all the volunteers of this event, do what we do for free. Yup, for free. This includes the committee and all the bands/acoustic performers, specialty acts, special events, and gate/park volunteers. Yup, all receive no money. We all do this to help animals.
We ask that you support our efforts to help pets and animals. Please come out and enjoy the weekend. Your wristbands donation will change the lives of animals and pets.
