Mahjong 101

Are you ready to learn the captivating game of American Mahjong while hanging out with your friends and enjoying refreshments!? Join our instructor led class teaching Mahjong 101 at Her Facility. It is highly recommended to take both 101 and 102 to feel comfortable playing with others. Each class will be 2.5 hours long.

Class starts promptly at the times indicated so please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to grab a bite to eat and get settled in before we start. All materials for learning will be provided along with small bites and non-alcoholic refreshments. Just bring your fabulous self!

Mahjong 101 covers the basics of the game: history, rules, etiquette, tile identification, and reading the NMJL card. You will learn the Charleston (how to exchange tiles) and will be able to play one or two games, depending on the pace of the group.
