SUMMER BLOOMS & GARDENS WORKSHOP
June is known for fresh blooms and gardens. Paint Florals on your canvas like you have always wanted !
This 2 day workshop will focus on (Day 1) painting an arrangment of summer florals in an impressionistic style using techniques and applications of broad brush strokes and bold colours .
Day 2 is focused on a variety of composition techniques to include tonal values and the play of light on shapes to create distance and depth perception in a summer garden.

PHOTO REFERENCES will be supplied but the more intermediate / advanced students can work from their own reference photo.

Jacintha Krish Bio
I paint what inspires me, what stirs my soul. My style is loosely rendered Impressionism, my palette is bold colour. The beauty of Canada is my inspiration, filled with the sights and sounds of its constantly changing landscapes as well as its people, imbued with the rich biodiversity that is quintessentially Canadian. My primary subjects are landscapes, florals as well as figurative and abstract compositions. Currently my preferred mediums alternate between acrylics, watercolour and ink, charcoal and conte.
I enjoy playing an active role in the world of art, participating in solo and juried art exhibitions and events, teaching workshops and courses in and around the GTA and other parts of Ontario and Western Canada. I work year round as a rotating art instructor in several art schools in Ontario.
I display and sell my work in Ontario galleries. Presently my work can be seen at gallery locations in Toronto, Niagara on The Lake , Southampton and Ottawa.
