Created for Bayfield in 1985 by Warren Nelson and Betty Ferris, “Riding The Wind” musically tells the history and the tales of the founding of Bayfield and the Apostle Islands. Meet the town Fathers & Mothers, the Industrialists, and the Ojibwe People who sculpted the Bayfield peninsula into what it is today. Ride the winds of time as you experience original music, evocative storytelling, and spectacular visuals that lead you through a journey with our local lighthouse keepers, dreamers and schemers, voyageurs, fishermen, and more..
